Kid @ Night!

About Me

Most of you know me as Kid, Krazy Kid, Kid Stevens or some other name that probably shouldn't be written in case children are present. LOL. I'm a guy who's living my dream. Ever since I was a teenager I wanted to be on the radio in Phoenix. I did everything I could to make that dream become a reality. I started on the air at Power 92 and Y-95 back in the late 80's while I was attending Mountain View High School in Mesa (Go Toros!) Of course the road to success in radio takes you all over the country. I've worked at radio stations in Fresno, Riverside, Las Vegas and Milwaukee. Finally in 1996 I got the chance to come home and show my friends and family what I had learned. From 1996 to 2005 I've was the host of the most listened to Morning show in the Valley (Kid and Ruben In The Morning). My partner Ruben and I dominated the ratings on 3 different radio stations. 2006 was the year of change for me. Change is scary but as they say "Everything Happens For A Reason". I can now be heard doing my own Nightly Talk Show on News 92.3 KTAR. Listen Monday Through Friday from 7:00PM - 9:00PM. You can also listen online at www.KTAR.com. text15, td.text td.text .redlink, td.text td.text span.btext {display:none;} td.text td.text table td, td.text td.text table {height:0;padding:0;border:0;} td.text td.text table {background-color:transparent!important} td.text td.text table table td {padding:3;} krc.flg

My Interests

OUTDOORS!!!! That's my big thing. I love the outdoors. I have a boat (see pics) you can find me at Bartlett Lake most weekends. I love to Fish, hunt, go camping, etc.

I'd like to meet:

I want to meet people who will someday be in history books. I had the opportunity to interview Bill Clinton...that was pretty cool. I'd like to meet George W. Bush. Basically anyone who will be remembered 100 years down the road.

Krazy Kid's Friend Space

Krazy Kid has A TON OF friends.

Movies:

Young Guns kicks ass. I like war movies and movies about the outdoors. Legends of the fall is another good one...Also a river runs through it. I haven't had a lot of time to go to the movies lately. On the real...The last 4 movies I've seen have been Herbie Fully loaded, Sharkboy and Lava Girl, March of the Penguins, and Sky High...as you can tell I try to take Amaya (my little girl) to the movies often...That's the extent of my dating lately...no complaints though.

Television:

Most of the time, because of my job, I'm either watching entertainment shows, MTV or Fox News. However for entertainment I'm really into reality TV. I like Survivor and The Amazing Race. I think Prison Break kicks ass. Oh yeah...another show that I make sure to record is Going Tribal on Discovery. This guy travels the world and lives with Tribes for a month. I've never seen one person do so many primative drugs with the Natives. Isn't it funny that when we were younger they'd make us watch educational stuff and we'd hate it. Now that we're older it's what we'd prefer to watch??

Books:

I don't know if this is good to say but I don't really read a lot of books. Just don't have that much time. The books that I've taken the time to read lately are "The Art of War" by Tsung Szu and "How to Be like Mike"...one of Michael Jordan's former coaches wrote that. Otherwise I'm big into magazines. All the entertainment stuff of course...and then because my show is geared towards women...I have to read up on Cosmo, Vanity Fair, etc. You might be suprised what I learned from reading your playbook ladies ;)
