About Me

"How beautiful, if sorrow had not made
Sorrow more beautiful than Beauty’s self." ~ John Keats

Alright. I'm Matt. If you don't know me then there's probably a good reason for that which you aren't privy to. Good luck with that.
I'm a musician, I play bass and guitar. I've recently started trying to dust off the keyboard skills I nearly acquired and sort of try to sing when goaded to by sadists. I write terrible songs. I live for the stage.
I guess I'm interested in other things too. I read a lot. I look at what they report in the news... and what they don't report in the news , and I think.
I like art, on a casual, don't-ask-me-anything-technical level, I'm interested in history, ancient civilisation, culture and religion. In fact, I guess I'm into everything. In my book, ignorance is the only sin.
More often than not, I'm poor. My current state is an unusual (and likely brief) ability to not cringe when reading my bank statement.
I work in retail. That pretty much says it all.
I smoke, drink and live a generally unhealthy lifestyle. If you don't like this, you know where the door is.
I make cynical observations about the world around me. If you want the lovey-dovey cuddly type, you've got the wrong guy.
If you like to talk all the time, but never have anything to say, I probably won't like you.
On the other hand, hey. In between being a cynical, arrogant jerk, I'm actually (reputably) a decent, caring sort of guy and pretty easy going (We have several unconfirmed reports). I've got the worlds most open mind to offset my closed personality, and I guess I have this ability to talk to almost anyone about almost anything. As long as that anyone has something to say.
Priscilla. I love you more than words can ever describe or words can do justice to. That is all I can say. I don't know if it's enough, and if it isn't, so be it. I can't say any more than this. I love you.
Now available on Digg .
"Jesus died for somebody's sins, but not mine..." ~ Patti Smith, Gloria
And now for some music.
Oh, I've removed my comment box because I'm fed up with getting endless bands posting their promo images... and other assorted asses with their animated graphics and stuff. If you want to talk to me, message me or email me at [matt.savage.uk[at]gmail.com]. Unlike most, I'm not a MySpace whore and I don't give a damn for comments, picture comments or anything else in particular. I avoid this terrible affliction by realising hey, this is the internet, if you give a fuck, you need to take a long, hard look at yourself.
And now for a random string of shit you may or may not waste your time with. Cheers.
Free the innocent.
