About Me

Hi. Glad you could join us. We are a group of people who decided that we would explore the Bible some together this year. We are reading through the Bible in a year, but you don't have to do that to join in. We come from a variety of backgrounds and belief systems. We don't always agree with each other, but we all enjoy good discussion/dialogue and exploring the questions we have about our faith and what we are reading in the Bible. We don't claim to have all the answers but we want to enjoy/wrestle with our journey together.The main thing to remember if you decide to actually do the reading with us is to not get bogged down doing it "religiously." If you miss days, just pick up on whatever day you happen to read. I personally have been reading through the Bible every year since 1970. I try to look at the time not as my major study time, but as a time to touch base with God and to read it to get to know Him better... for me it's about trying to see the big picture and to have consistent input. My world is filled with plenty of stress and turmoil and input coming from all sorts of different sources. It is good to have something life giving coming in on the other side.So, join us on the journey. Feel free to jump in, comment and fully participate. As moderators, we do reserve the right to not post things that are mean spirited or just combative. Let the wackyness begin!
