ENZENDOH

About Me

Enzendoh joined forces in the winter of 1997. Ove was invited by old friend Micke Jönsson, former bandmember from: Roadhouse, Mercenary Mustangs, Orange disaster & Foamen, Ronny Wiklund, Tobias Jönsson & .."Lill"Stefan to join the cover-band Siderja who was doing some acustic stuff. The bands diet was songs of: Steve Earle, America, Neil Young, Eagles, Bodins, Crosy, stills, Nash etc. It worked out real great doing it all electric and the band started to play clubs in the nearest area with great sucess. A little later on Pär Norén joined the band playing drums. Pär, Ove & Micke had been playing together for several years before this. Tobias dropped out a little later. They kept on rehersing, writing and playing, finding their own style. In the spring of 98 the band needed a demo-cd so they decided to record one. The band had a few songs written to blend in with the set of covered songs and it worked out real great so.........During the recording sessions the band recorded 19 new written songs, not a single cover. The cd was called "The sun never shines on Franks back door" and was released in the fall of 1998. The band was playing everywhere a band could play and people came to see the band doing their own Enzendoh - thing. The cd sold out and the band was in between jobs. Dusty records called and wanted them to record a cd within their label. The cd "In the middle of nowhere" was recorded and released in 2000 by Dusty records. The cd was mastered by Mike Paxman and the critics loved it. The record contained 16 new songs who landed in the Americana folder with both feet on solid ground. ..
