Werdz Perfic

Yo here is the real story of Werdz Perfic. I was born in Taos, New Mexico on March 4th 1980. By the time I was 5 years old I was exposed to rap music through older kids that were in the apartment complex I lived in in Albuquerque. For my seventh birthday my mother bought me a boom box and LL Cool J BAD(Bigger and Deffer). When I began to walk around the house reciting all of the lyrics especially those to the "Bristol Hotel" she threatened to take it away but I convinced her to let me keep it. Wrote my first rap when I was 8 years old. Durring high school freestyling at parties and playing football were the things I did the most, but I started recording over instrumentals on a kareoke machine my mom bought me and had about 11 songs by the time I was 19. I went to community college for about a year and a half but I dropped out because all I did was go to class high and write rap lyrics anyway. I always passed my tests because I was a master crammer, but i decided to dedicate myself to doing music. At the time i told myself that if I didn't succeed within 2 years I would go back to school, but I haven't renrolled yet. I tried my hand at producing beats for a minute but i was terrible. Luckily I met Dominique Rodriguez when i was about 21 and he decided to help me out and produce my first cd "Call It What You Want To". It took a couple of years but after time I finally pressed it up in 2003 and released an extended version in 2004. After doing some shows in the Albuquerque area I decided my best move was to go to Los Angeles,California to persue my dreams to the fullest. Performed at various places in LA including B.B. Kings, The Comedy Store as a part of the Curtis Arsenal Variety show, and Project Blowed at Liemert Park 43rd and Crenshaw Thursday nights from time to time. I am currently hard at work finishing up my second album titled "SUBSTANCE" so I can get it out to ya'll ASAP. The album is being produced by PMG, they are in my top FRIENDS, check them out they got the heat to singe the hair on your back.
