About Me

I've been playing Bass guitar since I was 13 but through the years, I've picked up a few guitar chords and wanted to share some of my own tunes that I had written and recorded with my acoustic at certain times in my life. I love playing rock, heavy metal, and just about anything ( except Rap ) but there are moments when a slow song can touch a memory or a time in your life. I don't claim to be a songwiter by no means, there are so many talented musicians here on my space and I am truely awed by their talents. So, I hope you give a listen and you find something in the songs that you like. Please excuse the not-so-great mix on the recordings as they were done on my old computer and maybe someday, if they are worth it, I'll re-record them with much better quality. They are very simple since I play guitar mainly by ear and I had the help of a very talented friend, Bob ( from Heepheads) with some lead parts so thanks Bobbo.
I'm currently playing bass with a local group "Slatts Rattler" and recorded our first CD "Paint By Light" where we included another of my tunes called "Entrepreneur".
You can listen to it and a few Slatts Rattler tunes on our myrealtalent.com player below. Also click on the "Visit Slatts Rattler" link below the player to check us out at myrealtalent

It's fun and it gets me out on weekends.
I've also recorded a CD with two very talented musicians from Ohio and Illinois and we call ourselves "Heepheads". On this CD the tunes I had written include "You're The One", "If Tomorrow Comes", lyrics to "Rainbow's End & "Turn Around".
I've just completed recording a Heep cover tune "Suicidal Man" with my buddy's "The Heepheads" for a new Uriah Heep tribute CD. Stay tune for a posting of the song here very soon.
Another project I was happy to be involved with was with a group called "Promyse" and you can visit them at www.Promyse.com
As you can see, I love to make music . :-))
Here's a bit more about me...............I'm someone who refuses to grow up. I like to stay active, have fun and enjoy going out whenever I get chance. I am also married to a wonderful woman who has put up with me and my music for the past 26 years. She is my best friend. I have a daughter who is now a journalist, and I'm very proud of her, her accomplishments, and the woman she's become. My family means everything to me and they are the reason I look forward to each day.
I love meeting new people, those who love music, love to joke around and all kinds of musicians . I take friendship very serious and would give the shirt off my back for a friend as long as he/she is a true one. If there is anything else you'd care to know about me, just ask.
Be safe, be happy, I wish you all well and keep makin' music ! Thanks for the visit. All the best, Muzzy
Taking a look back.................

I like different kinds of music but mostly into Classic Rock. I've been a devoted fan of Uriah Heep ( www.uriah-heep.com) since the 70's and finally got to meet and hang out with them in London in 2000 and 2001. What a time ! They are now my personal friends and they still rock and make great music. Here is a video of them singing a song with much truth called "Heartless Land" from their latest LP. Hope you like it as much as I do.
..
Take a look and listen to Uriah Heep during a sound check doing a beautiful song called "Come Away Melinda".

I also like Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, ..............well you get the idea. I do have different moods when I listen to music, so I could listen to big band music from the 40's, country music ( love Shania Twain ), I've been to Ozzfest a few times, I like almost anything like I said but just can't get into rap, although there have been a few I've heard that I did like. A limited few........
My hobbies include music, motorcycles, tattoo's, drag racing, concerts, and just about anything fun as long as I don't hurt anything I may need. ~smile~ I also would like to learn how to build a website and HTML, etc. so if anyone would like to help this poor soul, it would be appriciated.

My bike, it's no Harley but I love it!

I depend a lot on my video recorder because I work so much, I need to tape all my favorite shows like "Two and a half Men", "My name is Earl", "How I met your Mother" and most silly sitcoms. Anything that has humor in it, I'm there! lol Believe it or not, I got hooked on Deperate Housewives. ~smile~ Well, keep smilin, tell a joke, be light-hearted, and always reach for the stars and maybe you'll see me there. Bye for now.

Sounds Like: A cat with its claws out sliding down a blackboard.
This is the new woman in my life and her name is Dusty.
