About Me

I'm recently a member of the 30's club, and I'm trying not to let it get me down. In an effort to do that, I decided that I wanted to be able to look back at my life and say I was more fit and healthy and happy in my 30's than I was in my 20's. So I eat pretty clean for the most part, I try to work out regularly, and it honestly feels great. I have a little boy named Jakob who was born April 2006 who is my world - I would do absolutely anything for him. I have a great group of friends that mean the world to me and that I would do anything for. I'm recently separated from my husband (as of July 2007), and I've moved back down south to be closer to my family. I've finally realized the only person I can depend on to make me happy is me - and that's actually a great place to be. So now I'm happy most of the time! Life is good - stop reading my profile, get off the computer, and get out there and enjoy it!
I've made a lot of progress... and finally reached a place where I was ready to share it. Still not quite where I want to be... but inching closer. It's not easy to share pictures like this... but i figure I've come this far, and it's kind of exciting to share my results as I get even closer. Right now my cousin and i are in a 5 week competition to see who can lose the greatest percentage of body weight - so most nights you'll find me sweating at the Y in Newnan. Our weigh-in date is June 16. I'll post an updated picture when that's over. My oldest pic is from May 2006. The most recent was May 2008 - 70 pounds later.
