This is Mafia's current line-up was formed on July 2005: Melo (vocals), Gil (bass), Pedro (guitar) and Zena (drums). Melo played in Jonulu8 (2002) and The Cynicals (2005) and still plays the keys in Hornet and THiBB. Gil was the bass player at Lostimendeed between 2001 and 2003. Zena did bass and vocals at Full Damage and Fishbrain (www.myspace.com/fishbrainrocks).Headquartered in Coimbra, capital of cheap talk and not rock'n'roll like some say so, This is Mafia's first show ever was in October 2005 at Porto. Since then, many shows were performed until December. A short time-out from concerts to make some new songs resulted in a worthy mini tour between March and May 2006, sharing the stage with bands like My Cubic Emotion, E.A.K., Budhi, If Lucy Fell, Synead or M.O.S.H.. Later that year, This Is Mafia got back on the road until now, that Melo left the band, after playing for the first time at Festival Alta Tensão, as the first opening act for Mnemic.
