Hello all, As I turn 40, my dreams of entering the Tour de France are fading away. But I have been given the opportunity to do something better. My compatriot Doug Wade and I just joined the California Coast Classic Bicycle Tour, a 525-mile trek along the coast of California to help raise funds on behalf of the Arthritis Foundation. It's an eight day bike tour from San Francisco to Los Angeles, and that's on a bike that I pedal, not a motorcycle. Not only do I get to pretend I am Lance Armstrong, but I get to raise money to help fight arthritis. I am sure all of us know someone with arthritis. For me it's my mom. My goal is to raise at least $2,900 and I could really use your help. Please make a donation and help me raise money for research and education to help find a cure for the number one disability in the United States.
