About Me

...: 2006 :...
Release of the debut album: ARREPIENTETE. The band stood on their feet and decided to release the album using their own means. Meanwhile new songs were ready. It was time to hit the studio again. The whole deception about the record company just made the band tighter and stronger, so a new step was taken. The guys moved to the UK pursuing their ultimate dream to become the greatest band ever!!! The promo is almost ready and will unravel rockcore tunes to the world Stay tuned |m/
...: 2005 :...
The album was recorded and ready to hit the stores, but for some reason the record company just wouldn't release it. A bunch of lies, unprofessional behaviour and a great deal of not that licit manouevres were undercover, so the band quit and was again on its own. Much time was wasted, but the band kept the practices goin' and also some live performances just to kill the awaiting.
...: 2004 :...
New guys arrived, Vince in the bass and Super in the drums. Amazingly they got in the band’s groove right away and a tight connection between souls and minds emerged! This is Colombia, now complete. The preparation of the debut album took the whole year, and in October the recording sessions started. The record company guys were amazed with the band connection musically and personally. "The guys have just met"!!!
...: 2003 :...
Propaganda came to the street! This was the first professional editing from the band. Now Colombia is on national radio and emerged in the Portuguese underground. Several gigs, including one in London's 12Bar Club debuted Colombia's first internationalization. Major drawback: Orca and Cartero left; Colombia was searching for new members same time contacts with Cerberus Records started! Pinto and Teles still believed, was in their veins!!!
...: 2002 :...
Things were getting better, new sounds were coming, and Colombia decided to produce their own home made demo, called International. In spite of the lack of sound quality, it had a good feed back from the critics. Participations in small gigs with bigger friend's bands started, the crowd was crazed and astonished with the grooves!
...: 2001 :...
After the disappearing of each member's Band, the gathering between Orca[drummer], Pinto[vocals], Cartero[bass] and Teles[guitar] summed a bunch of power chords and strange sounds combining Rock, Grunge and Metal. Colombia was created, a new sound, the garage was headbanging in booze!
