All You Need Is Love

About Me

Bottle Rocket Blue is a four member rock and roll band from Indiana, established in the fall of 2003. In their short existence they have played hundreds of shows, ranging from small clubs to college & universities to major venues in several Midwestern cities. In 2005 the band performed for the Revlis Records Midwest Music Showcase in Indianapolis. Bottle Rocket Blue were one of the Top 100 artists in the midwest according to Taxi and Disc Makers in the Independent Music Showcase. In 2006 the guys played in the semifinals of the Emergenza Festival in Chicago,IL. In the summer of 2006 the guys launched a radio campaign through Tinderbox Music and charted on CMJ radio across the country. In the fall of 2006 the guys DJ'ed for The Killers after party at the Cabaret Club in Chicago. In 2007 Bottle Rocket Blue signed a management contract with JT Stewart Enterprises from Nashville,TN with the management team of JT Stewart and David Wilcox.Press:"Their four-song EP entitled "Dive Bar Girl" really caught my attention. It is definitely something different from the norm, and I really like that because I am sick of hearing the same old stuff over and over again. Bottle Rocket Blue brings something more unique to the mix. I can tell this band really enjoys what they are doing. The vocals are very raw and the lyrics are quite basic, but it fits their style. The keyboards give the songs a great effect and the rhythm section is very tight. The band has a lot of potential, and I cannot wait to hear their next CD." -Rachel Komar, Midwest Beat Magazine"Their story begins as most do not. It continues on, driven by a passion for music they love. Bottle Rocket Blue is a rare find, musical puritans. As they learn the craft of music making, they work hard, and have enjoyed some success as a result of their dilligence. BRB knows the road ahead of them will not get easier, but they are ready to travel it." -Fearless Radio"Bottle Rocket Blue are making old school rock fresh with their tones; heatfelt lyrics and a soulful, guitar-driven sound. They are creating something that does not sit with the metal/screamo bands that are so prevalent. Rather, they are taking the long road establishing themselves as classic artis, even within their first years." -Darryl Swart- Drummer of Tree 63 & producer"Bottle Rocket Blue are a modern day Beatles." -Brian Shaw, talent buyer, Anderson,IN"Bottle Rocket Blue are good honest rock n roll. In an era of prefabricated pop and market-researched rock. Bottle Rocket Blue exude a true enthusiasm for music, regardless of current trends or convention. Quite frankly, they are just guys who play the music they like. The fact that it happens to be accessible pop is simply by coincidence. When you see and listen to Bottle Rocket Blue you get the feeling that they would be perfectly content playing to an empty room, so long as they could turn the amps up and let the songs flow. One can only hope more bands follow their aesthetic." -Bobby Ray, producer Grand Rapids,MI
