I AM ONE HELL OF A CATCH!! If you practice Catch and Release!
PLEASE READ! This part could save you the time of writing an email and more importantly me reading it! I have decided to be brutally honest here or try at least:
I ran across a good friend of mine on here. I did not know she had a Myspace. I read her “about me” section and it fit her exactly. It was actually who she was to me, not who she wanted people to think she was or who she wanted to be.
I have actually gone out on a date after meeting someone on Myspace. It actually went pretty well. As well as meeting someone in a bar that’s for sure. So I figured I should spend as much time on this profile as I would spend getting dressed to go out to a club.
I decided to put some real effort and Thought into this section in an effort to give someone as good an idea as I can about me. If I do this right you should have a very good idea about what kind of person I am by the time you finish this. If after reading this you have a feeling that you just wasted a lot of time reading about someone you have no interest in talking to then I know I did it right!! LOL If you’re a friend of mine and have a suggestion, Good or Bad email it too me. I will add it in. Here we go:

The Kid and I.
I'm a Single parent living in Kearney Missouri, a small town just about thirty minutes north of Kansas City. My daughter is 15 and just about the best kid a guy could ask for. Ok, so I have to ask her to do EVERY freaking load of laundry even though she knows its her job and that eye rolling thing she does to me is driving me nuts but other than that an all around great kid I guess I should start saying Woman or Lady. To be honest in this last year she has started to act more like my Wife than my kid..... In reality I think she has just assumed her role as “Woman of the House”. Make no mistake I am a Strict father and I make it clear that I am in charge. 90 % of the time I am sure of it… It’s that damn 10% when she pulls that damn asking me something when I am watching TV because she knows I will say yes or what ever it is she wants just to get her to go away and let me watch my show.. Sneaky Rude and not Fair! The other trick, “Dad I told you about it the other day!!” Now I know there are times when she did tell me and times when she didn’t but I have no idea which is which! Therefore I loose, Damit! Is this something passed on from birth??
Dating
Ok Just to clear things up. Though I love to ride I am not some Big Bad Biker Guy on the run from the law. I’m a Single father and a computer programmer. So if you looking for your Renegade fantasy guy that’s not me. That’s just me every other weekend...LOL
This part might be the most difficult of all to stay un-biased about. A couple of ex-girlfriends have promised to email me something to add here but until then, I can’t think of an Ex that I have any hatred for or that has any for me. Some I’m still talk to from time to time some not but if we ran into each other it would be friendly. For the life of me I don’t get why there can’t be more friendly break ups. So you were not right for each other.. Does not mean one of you has to be wrong?? The short version is this. I don’t think I am the Bachelor of the year or anything but I’m no slouch either. I guess I’m just an average Joe in most areas. I’m going to tell you about my folks. If at the end you don’t think you have learned anything about what I must be like as far as dating goes than we more than likely wouldn’t have worked out anyway.
My Father passed away In March of 2007. I miss him very much. Even at my age his advice came in handy. My father and Mother were Married for 46 years when he passed. Since then I have watched my Mother struggle to keep it together when she felt like have of her body had been cut off. Pacing around the house as though she were looking for something but can not remember what. She is doing better now but I still see it in her everyday. To feel that way about someone must be pretty amazing don’t you think? I grew up in the Ward and June Cleaver household. Seriously, While they both had a much better since of humor then The Cleavers as far as parenting that was my folks. Pretty lucky huh? Kind of makes me feel sorry for them the way I turned out. Who really expected The Beaver to turn out with Tattoos and Pierced Nipples! My poor Mom.
If you want to have some real fun create a long profile like this and right in the middle of it do what I am doing here. The results will crack you up: “If you send me an email please type your name at the very end of it, Thanks,” You will be amazed how many people email saying they "loved reading your profile" and not type their name. Meaning they just skimmed it. I'm guilty of it too But this is not about me! oh wait.. yeah this kind of is isn't it...
I never heard my father call my Mother a Bitch and I never heard him use the “C” word. Why because that was his wife and he loved and respected her. He put her up on a Pedestal above all other women. Would he ever look at another woman? Sure. Would he ever Stare blatantly at one in her presence, Never. I don’t know that I could ever make someone my age or younger understand the kind of respect he had for her or she him. He took pride in the way her treated her. He took pride in his reputation as husband as well as a man. Because that was in part what defined a man in his opinion. It’s just not that common anymore. My father had little respect for the men of today.
My Mother would say some kind of cute little complaint about my father from time to time. She never bitched about him or went around bitching at him. That was her husband and she took pride in the way she treated him. She took pride in her reputation as a wife as well as a woman. She felt that was part of what defined a woman in her opinion. My Mom has little respect in the women of today. Sound familiar?
Now I’m not saying they didn’t have their arguments from time to time but their was a line they didn’t cross, and they both had the Self discipline to not to cross it no matter how angry they got. Self Discipline. Its something older people used to have. Ask your grandpa about it. My folks grew up dirt poor. Both had 7 brothers and sisters, both lived on farms and both had about enough food and clothes to go around for 4 brothers and sisters. My mother has always said growing up with nothing was the best thing that ever happened to her. I agree. When you have nothing of material value then you learn to take joy in things of other value. They couldn’t buy respect in the form of fancy things toys etc. They had to earn it by being a certain kind of sister, brother, friend or lover. The story’s are pretty cool to listen too.
I’m not my Dad or my Mom. While on the surface with the Tatts and everything I may look or seem very different, But I can say that when it comes to dating or relationships I never once made either of them ashamed of me. I have many different opinions on the world than my folks but I do still have the same Core Values. I still have a lot of Old Fashioned was about me. Especially when it comes to Men and Women. I still open doors and enjoy doing it. Well to know what I was exposed too should tell you everything you need to know about me dating wise. Pretty much buy getting to know them you have gotten to know me I think.
My friends
I am blessed in this category. I have a ton of friends and many life long friends that I both counted on and been counted on since we were kids. Some dating back to 4th grade. Its pretty cool to have been able to not only stay in touch but still get together all the time. Kind of like having a bunch of brothers and Sisters that you actually LIKE as well as LOVE. For my daughter its been like having a bunch of Uncles and Aunts that really love her and are around all the time. Now I must say that if you think I’m one of those guys who would just walk away from a woman I really really like just because she didn’t care for my friends… Your right I would. I wouldn’t think twice about it either. They mean that much to me.
My Hobbies
My Hobbies are Bikes(Riding them and working on them),Gym and Cooking. I would like to spend more time on my Harley and in the Gym. Update on the Gym. I am not a huge guy! I’m just an avarge height and weight 6 foot 190 lbs. People also get the idea that I am some kind of health nut, eating right and all that good stuff. Lets set the record straight, First, I workout so I can eat all the crap I want! Mmmmm French Fries with Mayo! Second, The Gym is right across the street from where I work. Makes it so easy to workout during lunch. I do want to feel as good as I can. I actually enjoy the work out and have so much more energy at the end of the day. No one minds looking good but that is not the reasons behind it believe me or I would look a heck of a lot better! The Cooking thing I get to do all the time but rarely find the time to make much more than the basics...
