I'm not afraid to say it. Dessert has a well-known liberal agenda.

About Me

I live in Vineland, NJ. Never heard of it? I'm not surprised... Vineland's claim to fame is being the birthday place of Welchs Grape Juice (get it? Vine-land?) I like food. I'm passionate about food. I love to taste new foods. I also love to travel. I miss Paris, and I miss Turin, and I miss Amsterdam, and I especially miss San Francisco. And I'm learning to love Vineland. Maybe one day I'll miss it too...

My Interests

My interests involve eating both eating real food and drinking good drinks (both in the company of friends and family preferably). I am sort of addicted to traveling, after the whole European adventure. I love brewing beer, but haven't done it since before the trip. I'm starting to write a bit, both about food and travel.

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to find and/or keep in touch with old friends and new.

Music:

I'm so out of the music scene right now. When we were in Paris, there was a radio station that played the most random stuff... but they made it work so well, that it didn't matter. I'm like that. Dixon turned me onto a new station out of Philly, but I can't remember the call numbers at this moment.

Movies:

I like good movies. I'm seen good and I've seen bad, but I can usually watch most movies and enjoy them.

Television:

I watch TV more than I have in several years. We never had it in SF, but Jill's grandmother has basic cable. So I find myself watching it even though I'm not too happy about it all the time. I do enjoy watching NOVA, Katie Couric, and the weather reports in the morning. I've gotten into Everybody Loves Raymond since it's in syndication... it's pretty funny.

Books:

I'm reading a lot more at this point in my life. I actually need to go to the library to get a new book. I took a chance last time I went on a book about 'Questing' and I didn't get into it at all.

Heroes:

My parents of course. They had me very young, and managed to raise me so well. I don't know how they did it.My wife, Jill is a huge inspiration, and I respect the hell out of her because of what she's gone though. She is a stronger person than I could ever be, and I love her to death.
