Anthony Viscounte is a percussionist and drumset artist from the Philadelphia area, who has performed with groups such as The Strauss Symphony of America, Philadelphia Sinfonia, Bryn Athyn Orchestra, Sean J. Kennedy Quartet, Hoppin' John Orchestra, and various pit orchestras and ensembles. Through his involvement with such groups, Viscounte has had the opportunity to frequent some of the world's most fantastic venues; including Chris' Jazz Cafe, The Kimmel Center's Verizon Hall, The Kennedy Center, St. Simon and Juda Cathedral in Prague, Czech Republic, Nowa Huta Cultural Center in Krakow, Poland, and New York City's famed Avery Fischer Hall.
Viscounte has also been involved with various recording projoects, including sessions at WRDV-FM Studios, Philadelphia Sinfonia's "Highlights of the 2006-2007 Season" CD, and Sean J. Kennedy's recent critically acclaimed CD, Queen Anne's Revenge." Viscounte appears as a guest artist on the title track, along with legendary drumset player, Liberty DeVitto.
