Exposure to the UK Dance scene during Sams first visit to the UK back in 1997 marked the foundations of his International DJ career. Through his style of Hard House to Hard UK Trance Sam established himself as one of Yorkshires top DJs. Playing at venues and parties like Freedom, The Old George Court Yard, Doncaster Warehouse and Visage. In 2000 Sam returned to his homeland of Cape Town, South Africa. Continuing his mission to provide for the masses, Sam played out at some of Cape Towns finest Clubs such as Studio 47, Club One, Gallery and Adrenaline including international events alongside Vinylgroover, Phil Reynolds, Lee Haslam, Jam X, Chris C, Billy Bunter, Jez & Charlie, OD404 and Dj Remould.Sam, at the time was Events coordinator for the popular Mosquito Lounge hosting some of the best parties in the Northern Suburbs and co-founder of Undaground Productions producing packed out dance floors moving to the sounds of Sam Fury + guests. Cape Town also heard Sam spread his sounds over the air waves with a guest mixes for the famous Adnaan Harris radio show on Good Hope FM.Back in the UK Sam held monthly residencies at Club Pure, Lunacy, guest appearances at The Howard and Takapuna Bar in Sheffield, Harsh Cow in Northampton, Doncaster Dome and a 1st ever performance in the 'Queen Vic' at the Tidy Weekender event. In 2004, Sam represented his homeland of S.A in a massive event at the Coronet Club in London playing along side 5FM's best known Dj Sasha Martinengo and UK based Owen Killgallon from Rhythm Nation Records. Whilst abroad in Cape Town Sam joined forces with Dj and trance producer Vivian White to further their production ideas and started working on there own music. Their love and passion for trance music and producing it was mutual and the union of the 'Trance Disciples' was born.'Trance Disciples', then released their 1st track called 'Pain Has a Face'. A slice of dark trance with cool acid stabs, pounding bass and vocal made for a superb debut track. Producing tracks with Viv in Cape Town and Sam in the UK things got off to a slow start but their tracks were getting air play on Ramair.co.uk, Connected Dance and being played out by top dj's from all over the UK and also in Holland. With massive tracks like High Voltage, It's Getting Closer, Trust Yourself and Alphazone's - Stay (TranceDisciples HiNRG Remix) the Trance Disciples were well on their way making a name for themselves, having their tracks played and charted with good reviews and interest from other producers. It was not before long that Dj & producer Charly from Amsterdam then took the rains in remixing one of the Trance Disciples infamous 'Trust Yourself' which at the time was well known all over Hollland. Further more for the Trance Disciples to then be asked to do a remix for one of Amsterdams best up coming, Dj Nazzz. The Trance Disciples remix of ' Angel Dust took the Netherlands by storm and brought roof raising times for dance floors all over. With 2005 the beginning of good things to come, Sam then went on to host his own night in London called SHIVER with a sell out opening party fuelled with one of the best Dj and producers on the clubbing circuit, Fired Up and Flashpoints main man JUPE, set the foundations and marked a truly special beginning for SHIVER and their clubbers in conjunction with the Club Q Crew.SHIVER presented by Unique Promotions hosted nothing but the best in Hard Trance / House and Techno with Londons new upcoming talent and top UK artists playing at all the events with the likes of Tidys own Lee Haslam, crazy duo Wid & Ben, fellow South African George E, Twisteds resident Trevor Maclachlan, Carl Nicholson to name a few, and all the SHIVER resident Djs.More recently Sam focused his time, working on new Trance Disciple material with partner in crime, Viv D, spreading the gospel and playing out at monthly events down south at club Hidden and the famous Inigo Bar situated in Clapham hosted by Londons Summit promotions and more recent Summit on Sundays along side legends that is James Lawson, Matt Williams, Ed Real, Phil Reynoulds, Cally Gage and last but not least Nick Sentience. With future bookings back in South Africa, Holland and also playing at Frantics 9th birthday pre-party, Puzzel Project in September and Lee Haslams own night called Lee Haslam & Friends, Sam will be making the most to entertain clubbers with the best up to date music he has to offer.Get Your Own! | View Slideshow Get Your Own! | View Slideshow
