About Me

I love music. No matter how much I love it, it won't leave me... I play a whole host of instruments including guitar, bass, banjo, trumpet, keys, and drums. I'm currently writing for a piratecore band called The Deadly Gallows where I play Banjo and Guitar. Its fun.

I used to play trumpet for Secret Weapon Eight, and guitar for The Blackmails, The Dead Beats and The Fidels before they broke up... I also used to play drums in Ready To Go! and Salsa Sharks and banjo in The Christian Brothers and Yarmada. I like lots of rock, punk, and especially ska.
Other than that, I just recently graduated from University of Nevada, Reno with a BS in Computer Science. Currently, I'm working as a back end designer for a web design company, but I am on the hunt now for bigger and better things.
My weekends generally consist of hanging out with my bandmates, playing board games or hold'em, and some version of sober altering substance.
I hate TV, but I love season dvds. Scrubs, Family Guy, Futurama, Firefly, The Office, House... all awesome shows. Recently my roommates have turned me onto Psych, Heroes, Ninja Warrior, and WSOP! If you want to know more, just send me a message.

Music:

I like mostly garage rock, organ rock, second and third wave ska(no emoska crap), and some punk, but sparingly, some Jazz, and psychedelic rock, the bands I prefer to listen to the most are: The Ovens, Holy Ghost Revival, Teenage Harlets, Shakey Bones, Phantom Limbs, Lost Sounds, Juvinals, Bafabegiya, Disconnect, The Aquabats, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Love Songs, The Briefs, older Less Than Jake, older Catch 22(before they got really bad), Choking Victim, Leftover Crack, Bottles and Skulls, Link 80, Capdown, Lesdystics, The Specials, The Selecter, Bill Chase, Chuck Mangione, Arturo Sandoval

Movies:

Favorite Movie is Fight Club, although, not long ago I saw a newer movie called Revolver that shook my foundation because its so amazing, so it might be a toss up.

I love Pirates of the Caribbean, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Everything Is Illuminated, The Darjeeling Limited, Ocean's 11/13, Little Miss Sunshine, This Is Spinal Tap, Wedding Crashers, Half Baked, Boondock Saints, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind... not big into horror movies or gorey movies. And action movies can get boring...

Television:

Don't like most television, the only shows I watch are ones I have season dvds of... like Futurama, Family Guy, Scrubs, The Office... I also like Firefly and House, but i need to get the DVDs. Recently my roommates have turned me onto Psych, Heroes, Ninja Warrior, and WSOP!

Books:

Favorite Author is Kurt Vonnegut, although i've only read about 3 of his books, my favorite so far is Breakfast of Champions, Chuck Palahniuk is also an awesome writer, and i've only read Fight Club and Choke so far.

Currently I'm working through Hocus Pocus by Vonnegut.

so i just received some lovely news from the doctors office... i went to get a ct scan over 2 weeks ago, and they never called me back... this was to see if i have any kidney stones... so i felt last ...
