Hello, My name is Josh and I make music. My main thing is the guitar but I write and produce as well. I am a member of the band Volumen Cero. We've been writing and pre-producing a new album that should be out later this year. I also played guitar on Cahuenga's EP which is out now in Mexico through EMI. My friends in Kinky also got me on a little bit of the song "A donde van los muertos" off their new CD "Reina". You can also catch me playing guitar with "Fulano" when he stops by LA.
I started playing when I was 13 while living in Cancun Mexico. I enjoyed playing in the clubs for all the crazy people until I was 20. Believe it or not that scene got old so I moved to Boston to get some schooling. There I hooked up with some cool kids and we started the band "Sofia". Good times. We moved to Miami and while there I played with a ton of people but I would like to mention Outdance as a definite stand out; Stick, Djembe, Drums, sometimes Bass and Guitar - now that was fun! We played the Harvest fest in northern FL and also the Jazz festival in Cancun. Can you say Jam Band! At the same time I started collaborating with Catterina Tasso. We formed the Spanish rock band "Moxi" (voted best rock band by the Miami "New Times"). We relocated to LA and after some trial and error recorded the material for our new band "Sonntag" which is the music you hear here. I co-wrote, produced and played Guitar and Bass on that one. It was fun, but all I can say is don't get involved with your lead singer.
Nuff said. Anybody who is into music and would like to collaborate hit me up!! I'm looking for drummers in the LA area. Take care.
Josh.
