SORORITY OVERVIEW: Chi Zeta Theta Sorority was founded August 11th 2005 by Janelle Myers in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Since then the sorority has gained nine co-founders, seven of which are active members. The sorority was incorporated as a non-profit organization by the state of Florida in December 2005.
Chi Zeta Theta Sorority, Inc. is a multi-cultural sisterhood with the purpose to uplift, encourage and empower the plus size woman. We also what to embrace all women of all shapes and sizes to not only encourage one another, but to enlighten our communities as well.
It is not required to be a student or a graduate of a college or university to become a member, however, a high school diploma/GED is required and you must be goal oriented. To become a member you MUST show interest in this organization by submitting a membership interest form from our national website, stay active in the national interest group, complete membership application and complete our Membership Intake Process.
Membership into Chi Zeta Theta Sorority, Inc. is by INVITATION ONLY. It is important that you are active in sorority groups and activites if you would like a invitation. Getting notice is the best way to move foward.
