Just to let you know, thats not my real age. I dont beleve in age.
I’m a second generation Japanese American goofball. Born in California, raised all over the US and Japan. I’m very cultured and I have an open mind to all sorts of concepts and views. I look for individuality in all that I meet. I’m very forgetful, have a bad sense of direction, can’t spell worth sheitt, I like writing philosophy, I value my freedom of space immensely, and I am a very private person. I DO NOT tell people my age. I think that it is a deceiving element of society for unnecessary prejudgments. After all it’s what’s inside that counts.
I try to live by these set of 20 rules;
1. If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.
2. Do not criticize or judge anyone.
3. Be humble.
4. What goes around comes around. (Karma’s a bitch!!!)
5. Treat people like you want to be treated.
6. You must give in order to receive.
7. Jealousy is the biggest waste of energy.( If people have enough confidence in them self you
won’t have the need to be jealous of anyone. Rev. People who don’t have enough self
confidence get jealous easily. Some times jealousy can occur when people don’t have
enough confidence in there partner. )
8. Always look at life from a different angle.
9. Put yourself in other people’s shoes. ( You’ll be surprised at how much more you can
understand and relate to when you do this.)
10. When someone asks you for your advice never tell them what to do, instead tell them what
you “would†do if you where in there situation, or give them a different prospective so that
they can see things in a different light.
11. Always find the good in the bad. See the glass half full, not half empty.
12. There is a reason for everything. The trick is to find it. ( You can make the worst experience
the best experience just by having the right attitude and positive mind.)
13. Say “Thank youâ€, “Your welcomeâ€, “Helloâ€, â€Have a nice dayâ€, “Drive safelyâ€, “Good byeâ€.
14. Love don’t hate. ( Find things to love about people, not things to hate about people.)
15. Give hugs when you can. (Especially to me!)
16. Learn to be a good listener. ( This I’m trying to learn to do still, it takes a lot of practice.)
To know how to listen means to give them your undivided attention. ( The average person listens about 15 seconds before interrupting the conversation.)
17. Appearances doesn’t matter but mannerisms do. Rev. Your manners can reflect what kind of
person you are.
18. Do not dwell on “wishes and dreams†and forget to live your life in the now. ( I hear a lot of
people say “ I wish I was rich.†or “ I wish I where thinner.†But do nothing about it. They
are dwellers, and they forget to live life. Life is here to work toward your wishes and dreams and enjoy the journey there.
19. Try not to worry and be happy. Worrying is a waist of energy and it’s very stressful. Just
remember, things are the way they are meant to be. You may lose your job, but maybe it
was because you where supposed to get a better job, or maybe you didn’t get a better job but you might meet the love of your life at your new job. You get the point.
20. When you make others happy and bring joy and laughter into there life, that life eventually
surrounds you and becomes your life. People who smile a lot tend to receive a lot of
smiles.My main goal in life is to be happy and make other people happy too. Remember, you must give in order to receive.
