Verbal Ase

”I call myself verbal Ase because of two reasons. The “ASE” is actually my full initials. (Adym Steven Evans) The “verbal” part is because I put words (verbs) into the actual beat I am making with my mouth. Unlike your usual beat-boxer, I developed a more visual style when it comes to performing. I perfrom with puppets and other props in my show so people won’t just sit there and watch somebody make cool sounds and just wave they’re hands around pretending to scratch invisible turn-tables. No, I show them what I am using, rather it is an exaggerated joke or something to show them what sound I am making or talking about.”
