Editors to brytyjska grupa pochodząca z Birmingham, grająca indie rock. Zespół poznał się w czasie studiów muzycznych na uniwersytecie w Staffordshire, a zaraz po ich ukończeniu przeniósł się do Birmingham. Editors powstali w 2003 roku.

Editors are an English indie rock band from Birmingham.
The band met studying Music Technology at Staffordshire University and then relocated to Birmingham after graduation. They formed in 2003.
Ich głęboki indie rock, ciemny i dramatyczny styl, często porównywany jest do brzmienia takich zespołów jak Interpol, Echo and The Bunnymen, Joy Division, Franz Ferdinand, Kitchens of Distinction, The Chameleons i U2. Debiutancki singiel Editors "Bullets" ukazał się 24 stycznia 2005 roku. Szybko zdobył poparcie kilkunastu rozgłośni radiowych i został wysprzedany w jeden dzień. Z każdym kolejnym singlem popularność i liczba fanów zespołu rosła.

Their brand of sweeping indie rock, dark and dramatic sound, is frequently compared to the sound of bands such as Interpol, Echo and The Bunnymen, Joy Division, Franz Ferdinand, Kitchens of Distinction, The Chameleons and U2. Editors' debut single "Bullets" was released on 24 January 2005. It quickly gained support from several radio stations and sold out in one day. As other singles were released their popularity and fanbase grew larger.
Ich debiutancki album The Back Room ukazał się 25 lipca 2005 roku. Po reedycji ich singla "Munich" The Back Room wzbił się na listach przebojów lądując na 2 miejscu, sięgając tym samym po platynę. Drugi album Editors, An End Has A Start ukazał się 25 czerwca 2007 roku. Był on promowany singlem "Smokers Outside the Hospital Doors".

Their debut album The Back Room was released on 25 July 2005. After the re-issue of their single "Munich" The Back Room rose up the charts peaking at number 2, going platinum in the process. Editors' second album, An End Has a Start was released on 25 June 2007. It was preceded by the single "Smokers Outside the Hospital Doors".
Editors z pewnością stają się jedną z najważniejszych brytyjskich grup, dzięki swojej ciężkiej pracy, oddaniu i szacunku ze strony swoich fanów.
Oczywiście musimy wspomnieć, iż zarówno Chris jak i Tom mają polskie korzenie, co z pewnością wiele znaczy dla polskich fanów zespołu :)

Editors are surely becoming one of the most important UK bands, thanks to their hard work, their dedication and respect of their fans.
Of course we have to mention that not only Chris but also Tom have polish roots, which we think is very meaningful for all polish fans :)
