My Interests

Writing, Reading, and spending time camping, sailing, fishing, or traveling with my family!..

I'd like to meet:

My Father, Henry James, Raymond Carver, Hemingway, Eudora Welty... There are just too many to name, but for sure, Stephen King, whose works have become thoughtful, more clever, and brilliant in the past 10 years; he will, in my opinion, go down as a literary great, believe it or not.

Music:

John Tesh, Chris Rice, Josh Groban, Steve Burns, Nora Jones, Dashboard Confessional, and John Mayer. These artists are just a few of way too many to list. I also enjoy most instrumental, especially piano, cello, violin, and guitar.

Movies:

Too many to list them all; the top 3 would be "Rabbit Proof Fence," "Hamlet," the 1996 version with Kenneth Branagh, "You've Got Mail," "No One Knows," and "Castaway," with Tom Hanks.

Television:

House;" "Lost," "Bones," "Hell's Kitchen," The original version of "Star Trek, "Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares," "Nova," "How It's Made," "Julia and Jacques: Cooking at Home," and "American Idol."

Books:

To find out what I've read, what I am reading, and what I want to read in the future, check out my Virtual Bookshelf: http://www.shelfari.com/rebecca_reece

Heroes:

Anyone who does what they believe in regardless of what others think.
