If it's on the radio these days, I don't listen to it; I seek my musical enrichment far off the beaten path.Deadhead since 1982, with many, many shows under my belt. Also am a huge fan of Frank Zappa, who left us 12 years ago. Miss ya, Frank.The rhythms of music in the African diaspora, such as salsa, samba, forro, soukous, jit, reggae, juju, fuji, highlife, and so many others are where I go to recharge myself.
