I'm Bik. Yes, I admittedly look like Oliver Platt:

It could be worse I could look like this dude:

My Interests

I'm interested in why you're so damned interested.

I'd like to meet:

Vladimir Nabokov
or

Stanley Kubrick
or

Noam Chomsky
I also like Dave Chappelle's comedy. Here is one of his best clips: "The Niggar Family".

Music:

Top 5 favorite songs: "The Seeker" by The Who; "Lord Only Knows" by Beck; "Optimistic" by Radiohead; "Living in the World Today" by the GZA; "Testify" by Rage Against the Machine.
Top 5 albums: "Liquid Swords" by The Gza; "Nevermind" by Nirvana; "OK Computer" by Radiohead; "Odelay" by Beck; "Led Zeppelin IV" (untitled)
Top 5 bands: Radiohead, Beck, Incubus, Rage Against the Machine, Led Zeppelin.

Movies:

I wrote all about it here .

Television:

Television rots your brain. You are being duped out of your life with reality shows and 18-minute sitcoms.
I watch a lot of sports.
Every New York Mets game.

However, there are a few shows that I do like. Most of them are on the History Channel.

I also enjoy:
Man vs. Wild

&
Family Guy
This commercial is presented by Starburst

Books:

I mostly read non-fiction books dealing with social science and philosphy. I also enjoy reading the works of noted MIT linguist Noam Chomsky. My top 5 fiction novels are: 1. Lolita by V. Nabokov; 2. 1984 by George Orwell; 3. Tender is the Night by F. Scott Fitzgerald; 4. Glamorama by Brett Easton Ellis; 5. Lord of the Flies by William Golding.

Heroes:

I think it's important for people to remember that your beliefs, based on your own critical judgments, are the only ones that matter. You can find a hero and a villian in everyone.

Cloistered from Chaos
