I am here for Friends

About Me

Coming out from Chicago, IL. Since I was 5 years old all I wanted to be was a wrestler. My friends wanted to be fireman, policeman and all that crap. I never wanted to do anything else and to this day haven’t any plans of doing anything else. I was primarily a WWE fan. Growing up in Chicago I didn’t get to see NWA that much. CM Punk in TNA was a committed member of Ravens Gathering stable along with Julio Dinero, but away from the TNA me and Raven have been in a feud in such feds like RoH which has been one of the greatest feuds in any Wrestling federation in 2003. But before leaving TNA me and Julio turned on Raven. Training was hard as I put it. I trained in 1997-98. I was such a huge fan. After WWE PPV’s, I would be over some friend’s house and they would break someone’s coffee table and roll around on the carpet. I decided to do it right and get trained. So I did my shopping around the Chicago area for a school. I found a school called the Steel Domain run by Danny Dominion and Ace Steel who trained me, plus I must give an honorable mention to Kevin Quinn who also trained him. They were both really good teachers as he puts it. Training was really tough. They would beat the crap out of me. One specific day I was doing armdrags with Kevin. Kevin wanted them to be absolutely perfect and I ended up doing about 400 armdrags. Which makes your arms a little tired the next day. Anyone who thinks it’s easy is crazy and to anyone that is in training and it is easy, you aren’t getting your money’s worth. I am now known now a days as the head trainer for Ring of Honor wrestling. I work for many promotions in the Midwest area. Multi time IWA Mid South Heavyweight and IWA Mid South Light-Heavyweight champion,at one time i was working for the TNA company helping it to become the No 2 brand to the mighty WWE, but also I can be found wrestling all over the states, not to mention a year or two back in Japan. There isn't really a place one can name and CM Punk hasn't been. I am famous for my "Straight Edge" gimmick in wrestling becoming one of the best talkers on the mic, But im also straight edge in real life, as seen by my Pepsi tattoo on my arm, which apparently is a sign of a straight edge lifestyle, so we hear anyway (no drink, drugs or smoking) which is cool. In an interview I said it myself, when he talks about the name CM Punk. "There is no gimmick at all; it’s how I live my life. For those that don’t know, being "Straight Edge" means no drinking, no drugs and no promiscuous sex. It was a youth movement, subculture type deal. It was actually started on accident by a hardcore band called "Minor Threat" back in 1981. I can have fun without getting fucked up. I’m sure you feel the same way when you go out to clubs. That kind of stuff helped further my decision. I don’t walk into Starbuck’s and tell customers how much I am better than them. But there really is no character, what you see in the ring is me. "Punk" was a childhood nickname. Plus I love punk rock music, so it was a natural fit when it came to coming up with a character name.my most famous feuds include ones against Chris Hero, Colt Cabana (recently wrestled him at the FWA show in the UK) but that is an old feud. Since Cabana and me become ROH tag team champions in 2004. Probably the most famous of all, is my feud with Raven in RoH including Dog Collar matches. CM Punk is probably the wrestler to watch at the moment as he makes his way to the top of the ladder of Professional Wrestler (posh), along with Eddie Guerrero, i hope to be the best and most greatest Wrestler in North America.
