About Me

I am geek how has gotten lucky over and over again. I am on my second career in life and getting where I want to be with my life. A lot of great experiences took place along the way. And if I die tomorrow I will know that the trip was well worth it. I consider my karma on a regular basis and although I do have regrets I think the scales lean towards to positive for tHhis life. My friends and family are very important to me. I love music; and sometimes I can be obsessive about little things. I appreciate comfort and money in that it allows me to have more comforts. I tend to be organized and am almost always early.

My Interests

Well first and foremost there is music, I love it I get crazy when things get to quiet. I love to cook, sometimes I even do it well ;^) especially italian, it is just in the genes. My friends and family are important to me, though with my family living in New Mexico I don't get to see them enough. Also I am a computer gamer so I spend a lot of time doing that unless I have something better to do.

I'd like to meet:

Well I'd love to meet the Dahli Lama, as the leader of the world's largest religion he is pretty impressive. Then there is the whole getting chased out of his home as a teenager. This is a man that I'd like to talk with to get a sense of who he is. But that is the serious and deep answer.... Of course for anyone who knows me... I'd love to meet Denis Leary or George Carlin both these guys channel so much anger without going to prison it is impressive.

Music:

Just play me some if I don't like it I will throw something at your head. If I do then I will groove in my own world or make you dance :) Music is a method of communicating it is a way of connecting people, it lets the spirit soar and the mind race.

I am crazy about music I love it all, classic, rock, alternative, techno, country, blues, pretty much you name it I probably listen to it. I used to DJ in nightclubs so that got me hooked on a variety of styles. These days I am really liking trance and house though it is hard to say what will be playing on my IPOD at any given point.

Movies:

Well I am really open when it comes to movies, I like the blockbusters and am not above going to opening night or opening weekend for something I really want to see. I also like the indies and the arthouse movies, romantic comedies, pretty much I am willing to watch at least part of anything.

Kevin Smith rocks... I love his movies, deep philosophy mixed with toilet humor how can you beat it. Kevin's Production Co.

Television:

Rescue Me Well lets see well written and Denis Leary how can you go wrong. This show is twisted, I only started watching this season but I am loving it.
Smallville At first I was resistant to the whole teen age angst version of Superman but it has managed to hook me and I watch it regularly. They have taken some cool twists with the Superman mythos. And now that we have gotten past the metor freak of the week and are working on longer story arcs this show is really picking up.
Full Metal Alchemist Anime WOW! This show has really gotten better and better. Alphonse and Edward are tough. The story lines are very mature and very heroic. Most episodes have rough cliffhangers and their aren't often happy endings. But the borthers keep on going. You can see this one on adult swim, with the newest ones each Sunday. Adult Swim
Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip I was bummed when NBC decided to take West Wing off the air, but this new show is making it up to me, I like the writing and the way over to the left politics of this show, and it has good laughs, if you haven't yet check it out.

Books:

Reading has always been one of my enjoyable pastimes. Though I find that I am doing it a bit less these days though it might have something to do with the volume of work related reading that I end up doing. I love fantasy, science fiction, mysteries, thrillers as well as historical fiction. I have read a lot of different books about philosophy both eastern and western. Some of my favorite authors are Robert Heinlein, Peirs Anthony, Collen McCollough (her Masters of Rome series was great), James Patterson, Robert Parker and Tom Clancy. Of course there is Orielly they put out some of the greatest tech books out there.
