Diosa started to explore the DJ culture in 2000. Well versed in numerous Genres such as - Hip Hop, Top 40, RnB, Neo-Soul, Breakbeat, Electro, Drum & Bass, 80's and Freestyle, Diosa (Spanish for goddess) is making a name for herself with her pure dedication to her craft.
Always striving for more, Diosa, is also an established promoter having planned and promoted numerous Club Events and Electronic Music Events, is a published writer having contributed to music publications such as Sonik magazine, Switch Magazine, and www.Shejay.net. She is also the Co-Founder/Co-Instructor of "Arizona Turntable Education". The goal of "A.T.E" is to provide todays interested minds with the knowledge they will need to become the DJ's of tommorow.
These years have been a positive journey for Diosa as she was named the winner of LA Based URGE Magazine and Shejay's "1st Annual Female DJ Battle" in February 2005, worked with Oakley Sunglasses during the launch of their female clothing line in 2003, saw the premier of the documentary she is featured in "Vinyl is a Girl's Best Friend" in 2001, and in March 2006 was ranked number 62 on Shejay's "Top 100 Female DJ's in the World" list making her the only Arizona female to be ranked. Newly recruited to the "Females Wit Funk" scratch collective with the likes of Shortee, Annalyze, Tyra From Saigon, Kuttin Kande, and many other talented ladies, Diosa hopes to also make her mark on the scratch world in the years to come!
