I am here for Friends

About Me

a little OCD, but hey obsessing about certain things never really hurt anyone. well unless you dwell upon them and then they comsume your life. But anyway, that's not me, well not all the time ;) at least my job allows me to be my complete OCD and crazy self. and where does a crazy person like me work, the only place that allows me to be me.. Chili's Grill & Bar. My home and passion for 5 years now. Because I'm SO career orienitated, I unfortunately have no time for anything other than work. Seriously, if you don't believe me ask my husband. We've been married only 2 years now but we are in it for the long haul. No kids yet, but looking for a house... gosh we're getting older. Who'd have thunk it- only less than 10 years out of high school and married w/ a career!?!?

My Interests

listening, watching, living DMB; learning & talking spanish; wish to get back to writing and painting but who has the time to sit back and enjoy life anymore? It's sad when the highlite of your day is to please the customer.

I'd like to meet:

Boyd Tinsley b/c i've idolized him for so many years years now.

Music:

DMB; oldies (Elvis, anything from the 50's & 60's) Jimmy Buffett; Janis, The Dead; Classical- Beethoven, Bach, Wagner (from my violin days); sad to admit- Reggaeton, all those damn years in the Chili's kitchen finally caught up to me; Reggae- thanks Sean,Rob & Drew; Country- more today's than the olden days but who can beat "Islands in the stream" & a little George Jones? Wow, isn't it suppose to feel good to let out your skeleton's from the closet?

Movies:

Say Anything, Princess Bride, Romeo & Juliet, Hitch... do y'all see where I'm going w/ this?

Television:

Supernatural, Gilmore girls, Real World, Las Vegas (Josh Dummel- need i saw more girls?), pretty much anything that lets me escape from the reality called life. But then again there's: While you were out- anything on TLC, and HGTV- i told yous we're looking for a house. But if Todd has the remote, then it's ESPN & YES all the way.

Books:

where to begin: the classics? the moderns? JRR Tolkien, Judy Blume, JK Rowling, William Goldman, Shel Silverstein, Sophie Kinsella, Terry Goodkind, Anne Rice, Emily Dickinson, Sylvia Plath, Pablo Neruda, Marion Zimmer Bradley, Jane Austin, Edgar Allen Poe, Eric Carle & Dr. Suess- didn't life seem so much simplier when you learned about 1 fish, 2 fish .. or Green eggs & ham???

Heroes:

My grandparents for teaching us life is short & so you must make the best of it while you still have time on this earth. My uncle Herman- it's worth sacraficing your life for the benefit of others. My parents... well you've proven that sometimes the grass is green on the other side but then again it may just be a mirage, so always keep your eyes open & never settle unless your heart tells you so.
