Enos Desjardins is a Finnish/Canadian young sound engineer currently based in Manchester,UK. Though born in Helsinki, Finland he spent most of his childhood and youth in Spain where since a young age he began developing a clear interest and activity in all aspects of sound. With recordings dating back to when he was only ten years old (his own voice singing and recorded to audio cassette on a Philips cassete player/recorder he had received for his birthday!!) At the age of 14 he began exploring the world of sequencers and synthesizers and soon added a Fostex 4-track multitrack tape recorder to the setup and began creating his first multitracked recordings. At the age of 17 he attended a sound and recording course of 6 months which further launched him into working part time in a recording studio/label under the name "Producciones MEZZO" in Seville, Spain as well as handling live sound on several summer tours, casual events and shows. At the same time he put together a small home studio built around a Mac G4 and a MOTU 828 audio interface and running Digital Performer. Now his interest and passion for sound was really taking off as he began recording local musicians as well as his own stuff in the small home studio he began building up.
In 2007 he finally moved to Manchester in a serious attempt to convert his passion and until now hobby into a future profession in the music industry. After completing a 6 month training in Sound & Music Technology at the School of Sound Recording (Manchester) in which he began recording local bands, he is currently studying on a two-year Audio Engineering & Music Production course at FutureWorks (Manchester).
With a clear idea and objective of making a living within the music industry he is now recording local bands and artists from the buzzing music scene in Manchester as well as starting sound designing on some short films with yound directors from the UK and abroad!
