About Me

this quote serves as a fairly accurate introduction of myself:"Music can lift us out of depression or move us to tears – it is a remedy, a tonic, orange juice for the ear. But for many of my neurological patients, music is even more – it can provide access, even when no medication can, to movement, to speech, to life. For them, music is not a luxury, but a necessity." -- Oliver Sacks Neurologist and author of The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat and Musicophilia: Tales of Music and the Brain.my story is by no means an extraordinary one. If my life were a book, and I a character, and i had to write a character analysis of myself, it would reas as such: a young and aspiring reclusive youth with grandiose goals who will more than likely spending his life chasing his dreams, however unrealistic they are, because they're all he has. He lives in his head to such an extreme extent that he on occassion has difficulty distinguishing reality from fantasy; fact from fiction. This "problem" causes an extreme social anxiety that results in occasional bouts of depression, which he has learned to mask fairly well for the most part. He loves to entertain, even if he is only entertaining to himself.
