In no particular order: Debussy, Chopin, Erik Satie, Wilco, Tom Waits, the Dempseys, Jimmy Smith, the Beatles, Keane, Bob Dylan and the Band, James Brown!, The Legendary JC's, Ernie Locke, Aaron Fowler, Velvet Underground, Vince Guaraldi, Daniel Johnston, Leon Redbone. Saw Wilco with the Flaming Lips and Sleater Kinney at Madison Square Garden on New Year's Eve-- best show i've ever been to. "In Spite of Ourselves" by John Prine and Iris Dement = best love song ever.
I rented Chelsea Walls but i just didn't get it. Could someone explain it to me? it would be nice to have some insight on it since i forgot to bring it back and have passively bought it. I saw "Ray" and thought it was awesome. I also really liked "eternal sunshine of a spotless mind." Some others: Harry Potter(s), Lost in Translation (I recommend "Broken Flowers" to anyone who like "Lost in Translation"), Hedwig and the Angry Inch, The Big Lebowski, Big Fish. Some older movies i'd like to mention: Fantastic Planet, Fritz the Cat, Rushmore-- wes anderson is awesome.
Conan is on too late
C.S. Lewis, Alan Watts, Vonnegut. Has anyone read ' Flatland ' by E. Abbot? Let's converse. Forget Lovecraft - Noam scares the crap out of me. I'm reading a book by Leonard Shlain right now. Anyone care to discuss?
