Hello and welcome! My name is Ron and I was born in 1981 in Rangoon, Burma into a family of physicians and scientists. I am a NorCal transplant living in Los Angeles. Sacramento is my home. I was educated as a Microbiologist (Pre-Pharmacy) at the University of California, Davis. Instead of attending University of the Pacific (UOP) Pharmacy school, I packed my bags and moved to Los Angeles to pursue my dreams of being one of its up-and-coming photographers.
I am driven by insatiable intellectual curiosity and ambition! Within 1.5 years as a self-taught photographer, I have seven magazine publications with four covers with multi-page photography spreads in Spain, France, Australia, UK and Germany. I escaped from the rigid academia to live a life of an artist. Photography breaks my stoic upbringing and reconditioned my mindset to look at things in a different light!
