Big City Cough is born.
Big City Cough is the brainchild of singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Sean Beresford. Having had the distinct pleasure of collaborating with the great players in the aforementioned musically diverse outfits, Sean is now taking the opportunity to explore his roots thru deeply personal lyrics and tunes mined from a lifetime of obsessive consumption of all types of music.
In addition to writing the material, Sean is responsible for playing all instruments heard on Big City Cough recordings, save for the drums. These include vocals, electric and acoustic guitar and bass, as well as percussion and even some thumb piano.
Big City Cough aims to combine influences of many genres into one wholly intriguing and listenable roots music experience.
