About Me

Well where to start........ I've lived in 3 different states, but in California for the majority of my life. I grew up in Northern California with both of my parents and my 3 brothers.... yep, that's right both of my parents and 3 awesome brothers.. I was raised in a Christian home and try to live my life in a way that would glorify God. I am fiercely patriotic, and have the good old fashioned morals.Being polite to others is a way of secretly edifying and honoring them.Besides firefighting I enjoy pretty much anything. I love to be outside, whether it's 4 wheelin, hiking, backpacking, horseback riding, riding quads or just hanging outside with friends.My all time favorite things to do is to drive up into the mountains and listen to the stillness whisper through the trees or going to a quiet corner and reading a good book.There's so much to enjoy outside that it makes me wonder sometimes why people stay inside so much?I enjoy everything I do and try to make the people I am with enjoy themselves too.Everything you do is a chance to give back.I am a very loyal and dependable friend that tries to help others see the potential in themselves and laugh while they're doing it.

My Interests

Anything under the sun. I have been accused of being a tom boy because I'm not afraid to fix things or get dirty (it washes off anyway if you're lucky anyway). Really anything outside and just hanging out with people and helping them see things from a different perspective.Helping people smile and find joy in their lives is probably my favorite hobby.

Music:

I listen to all kinds of music, yeah... that's right all kinds. Recently the favorite is Country and Jazz but I do enjoy Hip Hop, R&B, Rock some alternative, classical, pop, pretty much anything except when the lead singer is screaming words I can't understand. Every cd I own however is performed by Christian artists, there's a Christian band for every kind of music out there all you have to do is look.

Movies:

Preferably old black and white movies. I also enjoy mystery movies, adventure and the occasional girly movie. British films seem to be so much better than those found in the states. I can't watch too many thriller or sci-fi movies, aliens scare me a bit too much.

Television:

I don't really watch TV, but I do enjoy Animal Planet, TLC, Discovery Channel, History Channel, A&E and CMT or GAC.

Books:

The Bible, various Christian authors, Agatha Christie, Country and Country Extra magazines, Cottage Living, Real Simple magazine and Traditional Home magazine. Another weakness is home exterior decoration magazines.

Heroes:

Jesus Christ, my mom, my Ryan, my grandparents, family, friends but also the everyday person. I find the best encouragement in people who refuse to surrender their dreams and never settle for something less than they were created to be.
