I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I'm a born-and-raised Californian. In spite of my desire to travel to many places in the world, I've only been out the country once, and out of California probably a max of 5 times.

I love to listen to any kind of music. Well written music moves me like nothing else. Just get a beautiful song, even a good classical piece, and I'll just get lost in it. I truely believe that God gave us music to reach the deep places of the human heart where words cannot.
I love to write music myself, though I'm just a beginning lyricist. I've been playing guitar for 11 years, & I've been doing shows at coffee shops. But more than this, I am straining to hear the call of God in this time of change. May I be faithful and answer it.
One of the gifts that God has blessed me with, in addition to music, is the desire to listen to people and encourage them.
I'm a hopeless romantic, which should serve me well as I start out on the adventure that is my first relationship. I have no idea what I'm doing, so it can be a little scary sometimes. Please continue to lift us both up in prayer that we would honor God at all times and seek wisdom in all of our decisions.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I know every Christian would say this, but....Jesus Christ. Regardless of what you believe about Him, He had such a unique way of dealing with life. I'd love to just sit and soak in wisdom from the ultimate master.

My 3 rules for beginners in romance

I've barely begun my own journey, and only God knows how far down this path I'm on goes, but God's already taught me some valuable lessons about Himself and romance in general.  It may be too ear...

A Message

This is the message from the Amen - the faithful and true witness, the beginning of God's new creation:    "I know all the things you do, that you are neither hot nor cold.  I wish...

Profund Simplicity

Yesterday morning I was considering the message of Romans, which I have been reading these days at work.  Three verses jump out at me, highlighting the profound simplicity of t...

Gods Plan for Blessing

In my reading of the book of Jeremiah, I've discovered how the proper context can magnify the power of the promises we claim from Scripture.  I'm sure many of you know the verse that has been quo...

God & beauty

My favorite season is spring.  Something about what happens in spring really speaks to my heart.  God recently gave me a new insight into why.  As spring gradually replaces winter, the ...

Track Seventeen: A New Heaven and Earth

At the end of it all is utter peace.  Thus this final track is more conceptual, relying on the listener to call forth the full capacity of his or her imagination to even capture a glimpse of what...

This penultimate track is the first peaceful one since the beginning.  Track 17 on The Return of the King, and aptly named, "The Return of the King," opens softly with some strings playing, follo...
