About Me

Well, we're getting into it, kids. My favorite time of year. Oh, yeah, I've heard your bitching and lamenting about how Christmas is becoming too commercial, but even Charlie Brown was swayed by one little speech by Linus VanPelt. As Garfield says, "Christmas. It's not the giving. It's not the getting. It's the loving."So, grab some hot cocoa, your fuzzy slippers, and your best friends and Rankin/Bass the shit out of the next month and a half!

Suggested Christmas listening:
The Kinks--Father Christmas
Emmett Otter/Robin the Frog--When the River Meets the Sea
The Waitresses--Christmas Wrapping
The Pretenders--2000 Miles
The Ramones--Merry Christmas (I Don't Want to Fight Tonight)
Andy Williams--O Holy Night
Dean Martin--Baby, It's Cold Outside
and, of course,
Wham!--Last Christmas
