About Me

I'm basically your average, run-of-the-mill mature jazz aficionado. I like all things jazz, but I like especially jazz music. As to my dislikes, I do not like jazz artists who are not genuine, such as "easy listening" jazz "musicians". Most of all, I hate the "musician" who calls himself Kenny G. I doubt that he is a gangster, and I seriously doubt that he is even black. I refer to him as Kenneth "G". Miles Davis.

Music:

Anything on KJAZZ, especially really silky-smooth jazz (think: Mayfair Littleton [something like Lena Horne, but a male alto, meets the guy that did that Ghostbusters theme song]), and a bunch of other stuff that you're probably not cool enough to know about.

Books:

Calo Tapestry, the Dune series, The Lazlo Letters (any), The Last Temptation of Christ, any Steinbeck, Martin Amis's earlier works, anything by Melville, One Hundred Years O' Solitude (the Gaelic translation of Marquez's book -- you have to read the Gaelic), Aggressive Tax Avoidance by John T. Reed, some other eclectic shit, Reading People by Jo-Ellan Dimitrius, I'm OK, You're OK, Johntatan Livingston Seagull, How to Outnegotiate Anyone (Even a Car Salesman), The Epic of Gilgamesh, Bonfire of the Vanities & A Man in Full, Distant Neighbors, The Devil in Paradise, Mumbo Jumbo, Down & Out in London & Paris, The High Court of Star Chamber, Informe de Labores 1969 - 1970, A Civil Action, How to Win Friends and Influence People, The Panda's Thumb, The Common Law, Commercial Paper, The Outsiders, Franny & Zooey, Nine Stories, With a Pistol in His Hand, A Respectable Family, the Bahgavad Gita, The Crying of Lot 49, anything by Chick Publications & Charles Schultz, How I turned $1,000.00 into $1,000,000.00 - in My Spare Time, Anything by Alan Moore, Don Quixote, Class.

Count Bassie.

Biographical log?

My ass has been hurting lately. I think it is because I sit too much during the week, and ride my bike during the weekends. My friend told me that my butt is my most important asset, and that I have...
