Mostly, I'm laid back. You know, when I'm not losing my mind and all... I'd almost always rather be wearing flip flops. And, yes, I can dance in flip flops. Even if you don't think so... I can also dance in four inch heels. At least until I fall. No, really that's just walking in any shoe for me... Ha ha. God bless all my "skinny jeans" that have made it so far.
I love my family more than anything - My parents & my brothers keep me humble & strong, and crazy & sane, all at the same time. I love my friends - they are the extended family I got to choose for myself. I love my boyfriend, David - he's the immediate family I got to choose for myself. I love Rashawn - he's the immediate family that came with my man. And I love my animals - they're the babies I haven't had yet and they keep me young.
Since I live a million miles (um, okay forty...) from most of my friends, I don't get out much anymore. Instead, I enjoy spending time at home with my honey. And his son. And my dogs. And my cats. And, yes, it's a zoo. . .
I love to cook and to do things around the house. Wine is almost always my drink of choice - with dinner, of course! I also like to read, write, or just catch up on all the shit I've tivo'd during the week.
I also volunteer with Weim Rescue of the South. So I foster abandoned weimaraners, or help with transports whenever I can. I have two weimaraners right now, Miss Emily, which I adopted in October '04 and Macey, which I fostered for about a year and adopted in November '06. I love love love them!
