Harold Zinno

Harold is a Graduate of North Texas State University School of Music. A former student of the trumpet guru Don "Jake" Jacoby, Harold has performed with The Sonny Costanzo Jazz Orchestra, The Tommy Dorsey Orchestra and has been in the Trumpet Section of the orchestra for many great Artists including Tony Bennet, Sammy Davis Jr., Rosemary Clooney, etc.etc. Harold's influences are strongly centered in the styles of Clark Terry, Miles, Chet Baker, Warren Vache as well as Freddy Hubard. Harold currently leads his own Jazz Quintet and 18pc Jazz Orchestra that perform regularly throughout the Northeastern United States. The quintet is joined by the great vocalist Nicole Pasternak and has frequently performed with Jazz Greats: Ralph Lalamma, tenor saxophonist and Warren Chiasson, virbraphonist. The Jazz Orchestra performs with Walt Andrus, former vocalist with the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, Rob Zapulla, current vocalist with the TDO as well as various guest artists. Harold can be seen monthly at the Silvermine Tavern Jazz Series in Norwalk, CT.
