Band Members: H. : vocals, guitar.............. Bowman : bass, backing vocals............. Marty : keys, guitar, thermin............. Steve : drums
Influences: Sing me, young poets, the auburn song of California: sing us the epic beauty of the coastline: Sonoma, Marin, Half Moon Bay, Santa Cruz, Carmel, Big Sur, Pismo, Santa Barbara and Ventura, the great golden hills of the Altamonte, the Sun extinguishing in one final burst of safron amber brilliance behind the sea, the long, rolling farm lands of the valley beneath the ominous shadow of Mt. Diablo, the Sierra Nevada rising out of the azure East and the alabaster vaults of Yosemite, the buzzing neon madness of San Francisco at night, the shadowy realm of Mt. Olympus and Mulholland Dr.........We will let the bitter old farmers of the self-proclaimed 'heartlands' snicker at us and our pagan lust, for they are the uninitiated who toil through sad, grey lives for the thin promise of some awaiting paradise for the pedantic while we bask in the mighty sun of adventure: our sacred land has given birth to the immortals and the thousand fold poets. We are the knowers of secrets, the singers of the all-encompassing song: we have peered behind the purple veil of evening and the infinite mystery, we Californians.
Sounds Like: California
