Timothy Findley.Tolstoy ( I haven't read W&P) But Anna Karenin is probably one of the best books ever written because of the way it was written. Hunter S. Thompson Camus, Hemingway., Vonnegut jr., Eliot, Rushdie, Faulkner, Joyce, Dunning, Orwell (down and out in Paris & London is a classic fav. of mine), Steinback, Dante, Poe, Eco, Wilde, Dostoevsky
