Who am I?

Hi my name is Corey and I am a aspiring comic book colorist. I am born and raised in Chicago,Il. I grew up on the south side and west side of Chi-town. I am a graduate of Columbia College Chicago. I am a avid video gamer, a anime fan and a big comic book fan too. Ok . . im a geek I admit it. I like to have fun and kick it with my friends. What can I say. I am very humorous and dont right silly some times. However I can be very serious when i have to. I am an artist. I have a a strong love for comics and anime. I am a aspiring colorist. You may or may not see some of my work here. I am big fan of Marvel and DC comics too.

You name yourself Greenlantern but your favorite character is Spiderman?

My favorite comic book character is Spiderman, obvioulsy. I like Greeen Lantern too. I have been a Spiderfan since i was a child when i used to watched the old 60's cartoon show and Spiderman and His Amazing friends. My best friend (DeepC78) gave me that nickname. I suppose it fits me very well because me and Spiderman/Peter Parker have a lot in common in many ways. We have similar personalities, smart ( but im not on genius level. . .yet), we struggle through a lot of hardships, cracks a lot of jokes, we get hated by people who dont understand us, and we are both underdogs. We struggle but we dont give up. Thats what I admire most about Spidey, he is the everyman man hero.
