I am diverse -- I love music, movies, books, outdoors-y stuff (although I really am not, I grew up camping with the fam, so I know some boy scout things) sports to some degree (playing them, not watching them), and the arts. I play the piano, and it makes me happy, and I like to sing (I'm pretty ok at it, not great, but good enough to not get booed at karaoke) and like I said, I'm an actor, so I like theatre as well. You can keep opera and the ballet, although I would go to the symphony if you asked me. I'd be more apt to go to Ravinia, but that's just my personal preference. I also grew up with animals, so I love dogs, and some cats, but most make me sneeze. Oh, and crossword puzzles. Well they don't make me sneeze, but I like doing them. Cooking doesn't really INTEREST me, but I do like cooking for friends, and hosting and entertaining. Things that have to do with people, I like. Most things.

People who want to know me, love me, support me and challenge me. Or hopefully someone in some combination of those, all in balanced doses.
Rufus Wainwright -- Radiohead -- Tom Spacey -- The Killers -- Simon & Garfunkel -- Miles Davis -- Black Eyed Peas -- various dance and electronica -- other things in smaller doses -- pretty much anything but Country, Gospel, and Ska...
I am a carniverous connoisseur of movies. I love many, many movies -- many of which nobody else liked, but some in which I found artistic merit, or great cinematography, or a sentimental story, or a cute boy... Please don't ask what my favorite is, cuz I REALLY don't have one. I just love escaping into one for two hours. They are a favorite pasttime of mine, and I hope to help make a few some day.
Most television sucks. I watch it, but it sucks. More precisely, REALITY television sucks. HBO is good, because they're creative and truly realistic, but I don't really consider them TV. I'd rather rent a movie. Or maybe watch Family Guy. Currently "Dexter" on Showtime is my only regularly scheduled appointment. I heart that show.
Fantasy literature, mostly. I do enjoy Christopher Rice (and a couple of his mother Anne's books as well) and Phillip Pullman, and of course Harry Potter. And if you just scoffed, I defy you to read them and not like them. I DEFY you. ;)
People with courage. Courageous folks are the ones who take uncalculated chances and succeed in making the world grow and change. They are awesome. I admire them because it takes a lot for me to be that, and I admire those to whom it comes easily.
