About Me

I love music, going to see live music, meeting interesting people, eating good food, and that's about it. I get bored with people that aren't exceptionally interesting or entertaining. Mediocrity is something I loathe. I don't mean that as far as what job you have, or how much money you make. I mean people that aren't striving to better themselves, in whatever way they see fit, are just waiting to die really. I love my life, and everyone involved in it. I've been fortunate enough to meet some really cool people, and have maintained friendships with them. I also like to get really really drunk in cities I'm unfamiliar with, it always makes for an interesting adventure. Unfortunately I often don't remember my adventures in those cases, but it's still fun! I believe in being healthy, or as healthy as one can be that parties... I think that if you have the right diet and exercise you can overcome or prevent almost any illness. Not that I'm some roid monkey that's in the gym six days a week. Point in fact I despise those people. I try to go to the gym occasionally, once every six months or so... I just try to get more natural of exercise. Push-ups, crunches, skateboarding, snowboarding, skiing, etc. I think meat-heads are hilarious, drinking protein shakes six times per day, that's some health issues waiting to happen... Anyway, I'm also a live and let live sort of person. I don't care what you do, as long as it doesn't infringe upon me and my life, I don't care. Kill yourself (which with the vast magority of people, I heavily encourage), destroy everything you possess, burn your house down, whatever. I don't give a shit. Just don't fuck with my shit and I'll be fine. I've tried to absorb as much as I can from the book Fight Club. I think there's some immensely valuable philosophy in it. I don't apply it literally of course, but I avoid letting my possessions own me. I don't live to buy shit, of course I'm hopelessly lost in consumerism, like everyone else, but I try to be aware of that poison, and limit my intake of it.

My Interests

Shows, sex, drugs, and rock and roll! Just kidding, except for the shows part. I love to see live music, even if it's a style of music I'm not into, I still love to see the bands live. Some bands can kick-ass on cd, but suck live, and that's no good. There's been a lot of times where I've heard bands music on cd and haven't liked them, then I'll see them play, and I'll love it. So I'm very open-minded musically... Also, I like girls, I like getting drunk sometimes, but not too often because I always end up sick the next day... I'm a very casual skateboarder, snowboarder, and skier. I say very casual, because I don't get to do any of them very often. Except skateboarding, but I'm still learning that one, so I'm not very hardcore with it.

I'd like to meet:

I like to meet people that have a lot of character. I love meeting musicians, because they're some of the most interesting people to talk to. Luckily for me, I deal with them on a regular basis thanks to one of my jobs. I like to meet anyone that's cool, that despises normalcy, that doesn't look the same as everyone else, that hates Abercrombie and Fitch, and that despises the general populus like me :). People that are open to new ideas, or have new ideas to share with me. Back to the Abercrombie and Fitch thing, if you wear that horrible clothing line on a regular basis, please don't attempt to be my friend, don't waste both of our time.
