my heart beats to a rhythm and music controls my soul. when im not waxing poetic, i watch a shitload of movies and television. i also read quite a bit, but i'm no elitest. lots of other stuff, but i ain't listing it here. oh, and im a fan of cats, if it isn't already evident...but not in the cute, fuzzy, aww don't he give me some lovin kinda way...cats are comedy. they are one of the funniest animals alive and i can't help but be amused.
like minded men and women of wit. humor is a must, all else is secondary. well, i take that back, intelligence is a close second, but the two tend to go hand in hand.

there is a place for virtually anything in my repertoire, but mostly i listen to a lot of metal, punk, aggressive, prog, hardcore, grindcore, metalcore, punkcore, alternative, trip-hop, old skool rap, ambient, indie, experimental, rock and roll...basically pretty much anything that sounds good to my savagely beaten and highly experienced ears. i abhor modern country and im not much a fan of reggae or modern R&B either. let's all band together and help bring an end to commercial radio.
it is virtually impossible for me to pinpoint a favorite genre of movie, much less narrow it down to specific movies. lets just say i love a ton of em.
i don't watch a lot of TV anymore, really...but i catch the good stuff on dvd. Six Feet Under, Sopranos, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Entourage, Weeds, Penn and Teller: Bullshit, Lost, Arrested Developement, Family Guy, American Dad, pretty much anything on Adult Swim, but more specifically Metalocalypse, the Brak Show, Space Ghost: Coast to Coast, Squidbillies, and more.
i haven't really picked up a new book in a while...guess i should get on that.
heroes are hard to come by for me, as all men are fallible. but there are a few who, despite their flaws, truely inspire me. Bill Hicks for being one of the most poignant, intelligent, and still side-splittingly funny comedians. Maynard James Keenan for being the quintessential ambiguous rockstar and a songwriter that doesn't confine himself to what's going to make his pockets fatter. Layne Staley for having a voice that haunts me still, even after he left us all behind. My father for being the only man i care about failing to live up to.
