About Me

Well, let's see, my name is Elias. I live and work in Philadelphia. Those who know me say I'm laid back, optimistic and outgoing. When I'm not at work, I try to get out as much as possible - listening to live music, playing pool, dancing, hanging out in CC. I try to eat well and exercise. I played guitar for about 13 years and support local music. I still jam with a few friends when I can.

My Interests

I really love music and good conversation. And music. I am growing a few bonsai. I'd love to have an excuse to take my mountain bike out for a ride! I am always down for a happy hour drink or game of pool, good food, just walking around.

I'd like to meet:

I knew just about every person in my friends list long before I signed up on myspace, so they are a good sample of the kinds of people I like to spend time with. I'm definitely high energy, but am also laid back and patient. Live music, art, BBQs (even in winter), pool, biking, jogging, the beach (even in winter), conversation, travel, even just hanging out... This is a drama-free zone here folks, and I keep it that way.

Music:

Rock, reggae, ska, punk, clasic rock, hip-hop, blues, and recently some bluegrass. The most important thing is that music is on! Recently played: Arctic Monkeys, Morphine, Radiohead, Bela Fleck (awesome live show at the World Cafe), The Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Pixies, Fiona Apple, James Brown, Primus, Screeching Weasel, The Rolling Stones, and the Kruger Brothers.

Movies:

I got tired of watching movies, so I'm taking a break from them.

Television:

Rarely. Mostly comedy. The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, The Simpsons, Family Guy, Mind of Mencia. Eagles on Sunday.

Books:

Reading is a large part of my job, so I prefer to do something else when I am not at work.

Heroes:

Meatball, Italian, Turkey and Swiss
