To anyone reading this biography, it can be inferred that you are at least somewhat interested in this band, so let me start by thanking you for not dismissing our existence.
Cadet is:
a toy piano rescued from the trash,
a gang of mischievous trumpets,
a cello that dreams of being a ballerina,
my mother's antique violin from gradeschool,
a banjo too appealing for its own good,
a guitar obtained from the enigma of sychronicity,
a mandolin frequently mistaken for chocolate,
a lyre from a friend whom I very much miss seeing around,
an accordion and a glockenspiel from a 1930's French poet,
handfuls of tambourines, shakers, maracas, and other assorted goodies collected throughout my entire childhood,
a cassette recorder i used to spy on my neighbors with, who i thought were monsters when I was 5, (The husband is a politician now, and his wife is a lawyer)
a bass guitar given as a gift from a retired punk rocking revolutionary,
a 1960's keyboard I found in my grandparents basement,
a synthesizer I bought from a man who wanted to know more about birds,
several depressed pots and pans that were once thrown into the back of the cupboard because they had a few wears and tears,
a trashcan stolen from the set of "Are You Afraid Of The Dark",
a magic box and a cardboard microphone that captures every musical note i throw into the air, (recording equipment in my room)
the ability to fall asleep each night (or every other night) and dream, be it a nightmare, a dull plot, or a beautiful fantasy,
an adventure novel playing hide & seek in a horror-scene of an attic...
If you ever want to jump up on stage with us and just dance, or sing, or clap, or be a big goof ball, pleeassse feel free to do so.
If you have any old instruments that you don't use anymore, or any obscure, antique, unheard of instruments that you have just lying around your house that you need to get rid of, please contact me.
Very much so do I enjoy mastering new instruments, and fixing old ones, and recording new sounds.
If you want to sell something, we can still definitely talk.
Just know that i don't have too much money to spend as I need it to pay off my college loans at Rollins. :-p

Yeah, yeah... College destroyed Cadet. But I will still be uploading new songs every now and then. We just won't be playing live shows for a little while like we used to. You can probably catch my sister and I and possibly some friends goofing around and playing them at Coffee shops or something, but quite honestly, our shows became a little boring for me. So I've devoted basically every second of my summer to recording songs for my new direction to hopefully achieve these moments of ultimate fun town. We'll see what happens...
You will officially become the " Awesome Fox of 2009 " if you post our banner on your page! :]
