People that have the same interests as I do, or ya know... whoever. People who also talk in different languages randomly or use different slang, just like me! (mostly french, but it can go into english slang, nerdy words that no one uses anymore, you know... I know you're out there)
Music:
Anything with some soul, groove, and funky beats. Not against anything for the most part. Although much of the mainstream makes me cry on the inside... bleh! Some of my favs are Beck (he is truly great), most things 70's or 80's, Nirvana, Metric, The Smashing Pumpkins, Propagandhi, Beastie Boys, Silverchair, The Bees, Hot Hot Heat, The Distillers, OLD Weezer, The Pixies, David Bowie, Sting/The Police, Deelite, Belle and Sebastian, Massive Attack, Super Furry Animals, The Weakerthans, Postal Service, Aphex Twin, The Joel Plaskett Emergency, Sonic Youth, Fatboy Slim, K-os, Daft Punk, Liam Lynch, Black Sabbath, Radiohead, Ramones, Sublime, The Hives, The Kinks, The Vines, The White Stripes, Trooper, War, Bif Naked, Johnny Cash, Afroman (reminds me of my friend - bacaw!) The Raddisons (haha, if anyone's actually heard of them, you are my hero...) and many more!
Movies:
Comedy as I love to laugh, scary ones, but nothing I know I'll lose sleep over... unless I watch it with someone who is brave :P Alice in Wonderland shall always be a favorite! Television:
Lately mostly comical stuff. Although I'm a sucker for The Office (Pam and Jim will get together, I know it!), Lost, Gilmore Girls, and America's Next Top Model.... which pretty much contradicts what I said earlier... but I'm cool like that. OH and home improvment shows! I shall be an interior designer some day! How could I forget the ones I watch all the time!? The Simpsons, Southpark, Family Guy, American Dad, Home Movies, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Robot Chicken, Spaceghost Coast to Coast, The Brak Show, Harvey Birdman Attourney at Law, Seinfeld reruns and all those other greats... and of course, save the best for last... Degrassi! both the old and new!
Books:
Books are good, lately it's been more magazines though. Some favs are: The Catcher in the Rye, Yuletide Blues, The Secret Garden, Heavier Than Heaven, and anything with a good mystery.
Heroes:
Any man in tights, that's some hot tamales right there.
