Broken Alliance is an alternative metal band from Bowie. The band started with guitarist Chris Giler and guitarist Stephen McGinnis. With the help of the drummer, Stephen Giler, the band began to take flight. After the discovery of bassist Joe Hagar, the band would play its first show in Eleanor Roosevelt's Best of the Coffee House in the fall of 2004 where the band returns annually. After a struggle to find a singer, Mark Goggin stepped in and is now lead vocals and a third guitarist.
