Cooper formed the basis of Skepticynic in his early years of high school. After joining up with Schyma in 2005, Skepticynic was born. Once the initial group was formed, a record began to take form. After recording at the renowned studio "Sugar Hill" in Houston the record was complete. Sales of the early EP were astounding for such a new group. Once the record took hold, a following began to develop. People from all over Katy as well as the greater Houston area fell into the groups new and appeasing sound. After two long years of playing shows, making recordings, and developing the band as a whole, a truly unique sounding band was complete.
